Bürglkopf – Out of Sight

The ambivalent Tyrolean landscape around Bürglkopf Mountain hides a strictly controlled asylum centre that disrupts Alpine idyll. The film captures testimonies of refugees and locals, revealing the harsh reality of a system offering only a minimal chance of safety. Despite restrictions, people manage to preserve dignity and hope in the face of an impersonal bureaucratic apparatus.
