AMOOSED: moosy odyssey

Does something like a totem animal exist? And if so, can its call be so strong that it sends even a European on a journey following its tracks? In her moose odyssey, the director follows moose-obsessed, so-called "amoosed" people across the planet. Her journey leads from the stray and hidden moose of former Czechoslovakia, through a Russian moose domestication station, to Swedish moose safaris where moose live with people directly in their households, all the way to distant Nova Scotia in Canada. And in the end, it turns out that it was probably the director's ancestors who led her to Canada, where the Indigenous nation of the Mi'kmaq lives, who consider moose to be sacred animals and their spirit totem. Mi’qmak have an important message about animals and nature not only for the director, but for the entire contemporary world. Age restriction: 12+
