We're kicking off the new KineDok season and it's going to be a ride. Literally. Though the wild nineties!💥 On Wednesday 19 June at 19:00 we invite you to Stanica6 in Bubenec, where we will start this season with Pelikan Blue - the first Hungarian film that combines animation and documentary. 🚆 Three young boys, cheap fake tickets and a desire to explore a world where the Iron Curtain has finally fallen. Pelikan Blue aka Catch me if you can - Balcan style, will be shown with Czech subtitles and admission is (as always) free. 🎫 You can also look forward to a thematic discussion (not only) about the transformation of travel after 1989, with historian Pavel Mücke. 🗣️ See you on the platform! 🚉
By attending the event, visitors give permission to have their person photographed and audiovisually recorded for the promotional purposes of the KineDok project.
After the fall of the Soviet Union, Hungary’s youth dream of exploring the world — but with no money, adventure seems out of reach. Three young men find a daring solution: master the art of forging international train tickets.
